Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Blast Points: Episode 67 covers the first Star Wars documentary, The Making of Star Wars. From their conspiracy theory to how it could be canon, to audio clips and fun observations, they cover the commentary and keep it entertaining and informative. Great episode.

Blast Points: Episode 68 starts out with some excitement for Star Wars Celebration Orlando as they talk wardrobes and mental prepping. Then they rundown the convention history of Star Wars. From the first convention in 1976, to what could be called Celebration Zero, and then going through some of the official Star Wars Celebrations. They cover what led up to the event, and their memories of the first ones they went to. Fun episode. They cap off with some final tips for those heading to Celebration.

Bombad Radio: Episode 274 covers news. Star Wars Celebration, Mass Effect: Andromeda, movie news, DC movie updates, upcoming Batman movies and more for a bunch of Star War and non-Star Wars topics. Good episode. Continue Reading Podcasts in Review…

Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review. I’m putting this one out a day early since I’m heading out to Star Wars Celebration. Enjoy!

Bombad Radio: Episode 193 features Jeremiah and guests Jesse and Amanda as they discuss Neil Blomkamp and his Aliens sequel. They also talk about District 9, Prometheus, Alien 3, Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. They had a good topic for the episode, sadly it didn’t turn out the best. The audio is very weird (which Jeremiah apologizes for) which makes it kind of hard to listen to and enjoy. While I didn’t really agree a whole lot with their thoughts on the movies, I did appreciate their discussions of the comics as I haven’t checked those out.

Coffee With Kenobi: Episode #34 starts with some Rogue One discussion, a dose from the Bearded Trio, and then segues into their main topic with is a very fun conversation with the hosts of Skywalking Through Neverland. Sarah and Richard talk about how they met, how they got started in podcasting, and the extents of their Star Wars fandom. The episode wraps up with some listener feedback, and puts a bow on another great episode.

Fangirls Going Rogue: Episode #18 covers Rogue One, their Celebration shirts, shoutouts, and what panels and events they have going on at Celebration. Then they talk with Ashley Eckstein about Ahsoka, Her Universe and Celebration. Amy Ratcliffe comes on to talk a little about Celebration, and they finish things off with a character discussion on bounty hunters and Cad Bane. Another awesome episode with great guests and great discussion. Continue Reading Podcasts in Review…

ForceCast: Special CEII Artist Interviews Episode one includes some really nice interviews with Star Wars Celebration Europe II artists Joe Corroney, Hugh Fleming and Lin Zy. All three artists are interviewed by fellow artist Spencer Brinkerhoff III. Definitely worth listening to.

Special CEII Artist Interviews Episode two covers Star Wars artists Brian Rood, Chris Trevas and Jerry Vanderstelt. I’m really enjoying these special interview episodes. Spencer does a great job and I’m looking forward to listening to more.

Full of Sith: The Story of Star Wars Special Release episode is something fans may or may not want to skip. Mike gives a brief intro and then plays The Story of Star Wars (which was a record released in 1977) in its entirety. It’s basically the audio for A New Hope but with narration so listeners can follow along with the action. Definitely cool to have it out there if you ever want to give it a listen. One of the stranger things I’ve seen amongst Star Wars Celebration VI news is a mashup of Star Wars and Power Puff Girls called Power of the Force Girls. Created by Lin Zy, this trailer and opening credits serves as a teaser for the first episode which will be debuted at CVI.

If you’d like more Power of the Force Girls, you can head on over to their official website.

Posted By: Skuldren for Roqoo Depot. Hey, there was a Hutt in the trailer.
