Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 108 starts with Richard Grieco and works it’s way to Star Wars as they get the party started. They cover Valentine’s Day gifts, John Williams concert, E.T., Celebration, the new R2-D2 actor, meeting Hondo, they dive into Star Wars Rebels, Tia on Sabine, the Bendu, they touch a little on Empire’s End without going into it so no spoilers yet, they cover Han Solo news, need’em got’em, toy news, Yaddle and Galactic Empire’s new album with some audio clips. Jam packed episode with goodness from beginning to end.

Drunken Rebels Podcast: Episode 9 starts with a moment of silence for Carrie Fisher, then they get into a broad yet cohesive discussion on a variety of topics. From the blizzard in New York to who is the last Jedi, it’s a random but continuous conversation. Different, but I like it. Worth a listen for lots of fun Star Wars discussion.

Fangirls Going Rogue: Episode 41 is hosted by just Tricia and Sarah as they go through the news, Her Universe’s return, The Last Jedi, Red Cup, new actress in Han Solo movie, actress who wants to be Ahsoka, and they talk Star Wars Rebels. They have on guest Verona Blue who talks about her work as a voice actor and actor, and her parts in The Force Awakens and Rogue One. Fun interview. Afterwards they have a character discussion on Baze and Chirrut. Great episode. Continue Reading Podcasts in Review…

Empire’s End by Chuck Wendig is out today in hardcover, digital and audiobook formats and marks the end of the Aftermath Trilogy.

EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING.

As the final showdown between the New Republic and the Empire draws near, all eyes turn to a once-isolated planet: Jakku.

The Battle of Endor shattered the Empire, scattering its remaining forces across the galaxy. But the months following the Rebellion’s victory have not been easy. The fledgling New Republic has suffered a devastating attack from the Imperial remnant, forcing the new democracy to escalate their hunt for the hidden enemy.

For her role in the deadly ambush, Grand Admiral Rae Sloane is the most wanted Imperial war criminal—and one-time rebel pilot Norra Wexley, back in service at Leia’s urgent request, is leading the hunt. But more than just loyalty to the New Republic drives Norra forward: Her husband was turned into a murderous pawn in Sloane’s assassination plot, and now she wants vengeance as much as justice.

But Sloane, too, is on a furious quest: pursuing the treacherous Gallius Rax to the barren planet Jakku. As the true mastermind behind the Empire’s devastating attack, Rax has led the Empire to its defining moment. The cunning strategist has gathered the powerful remnants of the Empire’s war machine, preparing to execute the late Emperor Palpatine’s final plan. As the Imperial fleet orbits Jakku, an armada of Republic fighters closes in to finish what began at Endor. Norra and her crew soar into the heart of an apocalyptic clash that will leave land and sky alike scorched. And the future of the galaxy will finally be decided.
