Peter V. Brett can write a long novel that kick’s ass every chapter from cover to cover, but trying to capture that same magic can be hard when condensing it to short form. Nonetheless, Brett shows he write awesome novella just as well as a full length book. Fans of The Demon Cycle series would be remiss if they didn’t check out Messenger’s Legacy.
