Seven to Eternity #4 doesn’t let up as the story continues its engrossing journey. One week has passed and the ragged band of heroes grow ever closer to their goal. But with the God of Whispers among them, will they last long enough to see the deed done or tear themselves apart before they get there?

There’s a lot of dialog in this issue and some nice character building as key elements are revealed about several characters. Readers get to discover Patchwork’s background and how her powers were discovered. A tie between the Mudking and the Piper is revealed. Plus there’s some speculation on the Mudking’s parents and a little snippet on Goblin. All the while, the story gives some bursts of drama and violence as things push forward. The characters deepen, the story entertains, and the adventure becomes ever more complicated in the making.

Along with the artful storytelling is the artwork of Jerome Opeña and Matt Hollingsworth bringing it all to life. Their panels are still top notch with great detail, transitions, layouts and focus points. They highlight the emotion of the characters faces, the violence of their actions, and the weariness of the journey. It complements the dialog perfectly and story direction perfectly.

With another great issue to carry readers along, Seven to Eternity #4 earns another five out of five metal bikinis. There’s still a lot to love and look forward to in this series.
