The war begins. Green Lanterns, Superman, sneak attacks and carnage ensue. Great dialog, lots of action, and good artwork all come together to make this a fun issue. And it all starts with Guy telling it how it is.

Go Mogu!
Yes, before Mogu the giant living planet wipes out the Sinestro Corps, Guy takes a moment to rip Superman to shreds, verbally. On the ground, Harley Quinn goes out with a bang and gets her old outfit back (big thumbs up for that one). Lex Luthor reveals he’s the inside mole and agrees to help out Gordon. But even with all the action in this issue, the battle has only just begun.
The artwork is once again split up into several parts, each handled by different artists. Miller kicks things off while Bruno and Julien present a strong finish. The artwork is awesome with some really gorgeous coloring by Rex Lokus. Highlights include Mogu wiping out the Sinestro Corps into floating, skeletal husks, Harley’s suicide bomber get-up and the return of her classic outfit, plus the hideous array of Superman’s Sinestro allies.
All-in-all, this is another great comic in the series. Excellent artwork, characters, dialog and storytelling, it’s got it all. I give Injustice Gods Among Us: Year Two #9 a five out of five metal bikinis.
