Galaxy’s Edge #2 opens with Order 66 on Mygeeto as Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi meets his end. The opening page lingers on his fallen lightsaber which is where the story picks up. Dok-Ondar, the current owner of the lightsaber, shares the story of how he got it.

The leads to a Greedo story. Good old Greedo is out on a mission for Jabba to get a Givin who has Imperial access codes. However, Greedo’s over confidence gets him in trouble. He gets his partner killed, he gets the Givin killed, and his only prize is Ki-Adi-Muni’s lightsaber, which he manages to steal. Jabba isn’t happy about any of it, but Dok-Ondar happens to be on hand and buys the lightsaber from Jabba. It’s hinted that Greedo’s next job is to go bring in Han Solo. Back in the present, Dok-Ondar lets slip about his Sith relic, and the thieves watching him finally have what they need to know in order to rob him.

The story is good, and it’s kind of entertaining to see Greedo in action and falling short of his massive ego. It seems to fit with the character. Through the story, the comic further explores Black Spire Outpost and Dok-Ondar’s shop, thus adding a bit to the mythos for people visiting Disney’s theme parks. But it’s not really an essential story.

The artwork is pretty good, with some nice “hero” shots of Greedo in action. Lots of detail and color. Great lighting effects. It’s good looking artwork.

With a story that’s kind of fun and entertaining, with good artwork, I give Galaxy’s Edge #2 a three out of five metal bikinis.
