Then they get back on topic as they talk about Rey, Luke, the praetorian guards, Snoke, Kylo, Poe, Finn, the new imagery, the Canto Bight police, what will sway Luke to teach Rey, DJ, Poe and Leia’s relationship, and they wrap up with listener emails and an Oppo award.

They also talk about the kyber wolf and observations and speculation regarding The Last Jedi. They discuss Kylo’s TIE Silencer, a word from the crawl, the upcoming Luke Skywalker, Leia, Phasma and Canto Bight books, plus they talk Inferno Squad and Star Wars Battlefront II.

For their main discussion, they talk about John Williams, diving into how he, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas met, the success of the sound track, and then they go through their favorite John Williams songs from each Star Wars film.

Blast Points: Episode 84 is more Droids coverage as they do a commentary for Treasure of the Hidden Planet. The voices for the characters in these episodes are ridiculously entertaining. Fun episode.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 129 starts with underwear, pizza and Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. From Hammerheads to fighting robots, Joe and Chris ponder on the possibilities of how in universe and immersive the Star Wars theme park will be. They also touch on J.W. Rinzler’s blog being taken down, and dive into toys with new toy reveals, SDCC figures and other news. Good episode.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 125 is their commentary on the Droids cartoon tv movie “The Great Heep.”

Blast Points: Episode 80 starts off with the news, the George Lucas museum approval, autograph issue, D23, and Forces of Destiny. Then they discuss the game Rebel Assault 2 which leads to a very fun discussion. Great episode.

Blast Points: Episode 82 covers the D23 news on Star Wars land, then they digest the behind the scenes sizzler trailer for The Last Jedi. There’s lots of Star Wars love in this discussion, and a little lunacy as they go crazy for the new aliens, lobsters and sizzler references. Great episode.

Coffee With Kenobi: Episode 75 features guest hosts Randy Therio and Jay Krebs as they talk teaching with Star Wars and Forces of Destiny. Jason Ward also joins them to weigh in on the Forces of Destiny discussion. They also talk about the Star Wars card game and table top games with Tom, and SDCC Star Wars exclusives. Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Blast Points: Episode 79 kicks off with some rather intriguing and timely audio clips on Lord and Miller. They talk about the Han Solo news and breakdown the evolution of the project, going through the stages, and playing some audio clips as they go. They also touch on Ron Howard taking over and their thoughts on the whole thing. But that’s not it for this episode as they then transition to Genndy Tartakovsky, how he was let go when future projects were talked about, and they dive into his version of the Clone Wars and some of the cool moments from the show. They wrap things up with an interview with Star Wars author Jared Krosoczka who took over the Jedi Academy series. Great episode.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 124 jokes around with sponsorships, drinking Coronas, vikings, copper pots, and then they get to the news. They discuss the Han Solo directors getting fired, diving into listener emails, pizza, and some need’em got’em. Great episode with lots of fun packed in.

Comic Book Noob: Venom discusses the part time villain, part time ally of Spider-Man. They talk about the symbiote, its origin, how it works, its hosts, how Venom has wound up helping Spider-Man from time to time, and how the Tom Hardy Venom movie might tie into all of this. Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Blast Points: Episode 78 touches on Star Wars Battlefront II, Han Solo crew gear, then they dive into their main discussion – Star Wars on QVC. They talk about the content that was on the channel, the products, the callers, and Mark Hamill’s involvement complete with some audio clips. As someone who missed out on the whole QVC Star Wars thing, this was a fun episode.

Bombad Radio: Episode 280 is an interview with make-up artist Brian Sipe who talks about X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, working with actors, the challenges with the make-up, and other movies he’s worked on. It’s a good interview. Afterwards there’s some general movie discussion. Good episode.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 123 features Joe and special guest host Matt Moore as they talk about home brewed gin, vodka’s of choice, heavy metal, Conan, Robert E. Howard, Lovecraft, how they got into comics, and then they get into Star Wars comics. Blast Points: Episode 77 starts with some news on The Last Jedi UK release and they talk about their own love of diving into spoilers when the movie gets released a day early. They also talk about the stolen Rancho Obi-Wan items, then they head into their main discussion, The Empire Strikes Back Super 8. They talk about how this 33 minute version of Star Wars plays out, what was cut, what was kept, and what’s different including alternate line readings. Good episode.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 121 covers haircuts, Conty’s dioramas and custom figures, a Blast Points shoutout, Chris Cornell’s passing, and then they dive into the Vanity Fair content. No need’em got’em but they do have listener emails. Fun episode.

Coffee With Kenobi: Episode 71 features guests Ian Doescher and Brian Sims as they join Dan for some various discussions including items being stolen from Rancho Obi-Wan, new Hallmark items, LEGO, Funko Pop and a character poll. Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Awards Chatter: Alexander Skarsgård episode is pretty interesting. I’m more familiar with his father’s movies than I am his, but I have seen a couple. Alex talks about his dad, his first roles, joining the marines, Generation Kill, True Blood and Big Little Lies. Worth checking out.

Blast Points: Episode 76 starts with a little The Last Jedi news, Pablo’s comments on Phasma, Jedi books, the vice admiral and DJ. Plus they cover LEGO reveals, Snoke on an elevator, BB-AD, and the ILM reunion. For the main discussion, they do something really fun. They dive into the old Phantom Menace CommTech chips that Hasbro made. They play every single one. To keep things fun, they try to guess which figure each CommTech chip came with. Great episode.

Children of the Force: Episode 72 features Al, Liam and Nick as they talk about various stuff, Nick’s theories on DJ and the vice admiral in The Last Jedi, they discuss the Canto Bight people, Krennic’s last thoughts, a Yoda impression, then they talk Force Arena.
