One of the best things about Celebration is the cosplay. People come up with some of the best costumes. The hard part is getting pictures as it’s usually coincidental when you run into that awesome cosplay. Sometimes you see them going down an escalator and there’s no chance for a picture. Other times there’s a place you have to be when you catch a glance of a great costume. But sometimes you spot them and you have the time to get a picture. Well, here’s our roundup of the cosplay pics we captured from Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017.
Our recap of day four of Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017.
Sunday is typically the quietest day of Celebration, and breezing through the security checkpoint, it looked like that might pan out. There were no big panels on Sunday that I was interested in, so I skipped all the wristbanding and went straight to the queue for the show floor. However, if I had wanted to see anything, there were already two panels that were sold out by 7:40 AM: Hamill Himself and the Closing Ceremony on the main stage.
First things first, I grabbed the last Cardamundi giveaway card. Unfortunately I missed out on Saturday’s so I didn’t get a complete set. Regardless, I didn’t have much on my agenda, so I wandered the show floor a bit then got in line for some author autographs. Continue Reading On Station At Celebration: Day 4…
Here’s our recap of day three at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017.
Saturday is typically the busiest day of Celebration, but this year all four days ended up being busy. The interesting thing about Saturday this year, though, was the lack of a huge panel with universal draw. Everyone wanted to go to the 40th Anniversary panel and The Last Jedi panel. On Saturday, there was no one panel that drew a humongous crowd.
I got to the convention center at 6:00 AM and wristbands were still available for all panels. The primary panel on my wish list was the Star Wars Rebels panel and the line was a breeze as they had six people giving out wristbands which helped the line move very quickly. I opted to not get any other wristbands that day. Continue Reading On Station At Celebration: Day 3…

It’s day two of Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 and here’s our recap.
With the line chaos of day one, I decided I’d try something completely different on day two. Instead of getting up early to hit the convention center right when they opened in the morning, I waited till around 6:30 AM. By that time, the line outside was only two blocks lock, pretty close to yesterday’s size when I lined up early. The security check went much faster as they had more gates open to transfer people through. Continue Reading On Station At Celebration: Day 2…

Here’s our recap of day 2 at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017.
So, the big question was to sleep over at the convention center or to spend the night in my comfy bed and wake early to get in. Short story, comfy bed won.
That said, I did get up early. Per the convention website, people would not be allowed to lineup before 5:00 AM. I got their ten minutes early and the line was already a couple blocks long outside the building. In fact there was three lines struggling to merge which created a little chaos since there were no staff members outside the building to corral the line. After a short wait outside along the curb of the street, the line started moving as they processed people into the security check point. You see the first line, the one stretching out the door, was just to get through security. When you step inside the building they broke everyone into four lines to process us through the security scanners. Everyone had to empty their pockets and open their bags. It wasn’t too bad as the bag check was very cursory, so as long as you didn’t have too much stuff shoved in your pockets, it wasn’t much of a hassle. It’s the day before the kick off for Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 and I’m here on the scene. Or at least I was around about town. Last time I was in Orlando for Celebration, I didn’t have much time to explore, so this time around, I set out on foot to see what there was to see.
This year I ended up at the Days Inn for my stay in Orlando. I wasn’t my first pick, but it’s not too bad, and it’s within walking distance to the convention center (as well as McDonalds and Walgreens) which means no rental car needed. Continue Reading On Station At Celebration: Arrival…
