Skytalkers: The Rise of Skywalker Reaction (Spoilers!) is their thoughts right after seeing the film. In fact they literally recorded in their car, but don’t let that discourage you as the audio quality is still really good. They talk about how the movie was everything they wanted and also nothing they wanted. They go over their wish list and how this film hit each of those things, but also how the movie threw them a curve. They talk about the spoiler they knew going in, and how that affected the experience. They talk about some of the key points in the film and their thoughts on those, the things that were misses, and the things that were done right. At 1 hour 12 minutes, they come back after their second viewing to share their thoughts. Good discussion that has a healthy balance of both the good and the bad with the film. Great episode.

The Mando Roundup: The Letter Opener of Death goes over The Mandalorian Chapter 7 and 8. They dive into their likes and dislikes, have some fun, and speculate where things might be heading from here. Good discussion and fun episode. Having listened to a few different podcasts discuss The Mandalorian, many doing episode by episode discussions, this would have to be one of my favorites as they do a good job of keeping it fun but also making good observations and taking some time to speculate where things might be heading. The episodes are shorter, which is nice as they don’t get bogged down into any one thing or waste a lot of time on anything that might get boring. It’s kind of the perfect mix. If you haven’t listened to them, be sure to check them out.
