  • The Barnes & Noble edition of Delilah S. Dawson’s upcoming novel Black Spire will include a map of the outpost. Plus StarWars.com has a new excerpt from the book (as well as a picture of the map).

Convention & Event News

  • D23 is August 23 to 25 in Anaheim, CA.
  • New York Comic Con is October 3 to 6 in New York, NY. Star Wars guests include James Arnold Taylor, Mark Brooks, Ken Lashley, Charles Soule, and Billy Dee Williams.
  • Authors Kevin Hearne and Chuck Wendig will be in Doylestown, PA on October 7th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Doylestown Bookshop.
  • Author Kevin Hearne will be in Richmond, VA on October 8th at 6:00 PM for a book signing at Fountain Books.
  • Author Kevin Hearne will be in Charlotte, NC on October 9th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Park Road Books.
  • Author Kevin Hearne will be in Orlando, FL on October 10th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Barnes & Noble (Colonial Drive).
  • Disney’s Star Wars Day at Sea will be returning in 2020.

  • If you thought Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy was cancelled, Johnson confirmed it’s still on in a new interview for Knives Out.
  • Here’s the trailer for Star Wars Resistance Season 2 which they also confirmed will be the last season of the show.

  • Here’s the first episode of Star Wars Rollout.

  • Beyond Star Wars, there’s a movie trailers out for Last Christmas which looks like a decent feel good movie. It’ll be out November 8th.

Toy & Collectible News

  • If you’re heading to D23, the Hasbro Black Series 6″ standard edition Sith Trooper will be available.
  • Mattel is coming out with some Star Wars inspired Barbie dolls.
