Comic News

  • Jedi: Fallen Order is getting a comic mini-series called Dark Temple. It will be set prior to the game. Mathew Rosenberg will be writing the comics and Paolo Villanelli will be handling the artwork. Follow the link to check out the full report from StarWars.com.

Convention & Event News

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim has revealed their dates. The con will run August 27 to 30, 2020, so they’re returning to their normal 4-day convention format. It will be at the Anaheim Convention Center and it will be run by ReedPOP again. Tickets go on sale June 21 at 9:00 AM PT. You can also check out ticket prices on the Star Wars Celebration website as they’ve already updated.

  • Devon Comic Con & Gaming Festival is June 15 at The Matford Centre in Exeter, England. Star Wars guests include Bern Collaco, Sandeep Mohan, and Tina Simmons.
  • Washington State Summer Con is June 15 and 16 in Pullyaup, WA. Star Wars guests include Temuera Morrison, John Ratzenberger, Billy Dee Williams, and Carl Weathers.
  • Sci-Fi by the Sea is June 16 in Herne Bay, England. Star Wars guests include Paul Warren.
  • Epic Comic Con is June 21 to 23 in Atlantic City, NJ. Star Wars guests include Mark Dodson, and Brent Spiner.
  • Planet Funk Con is June 21 to 23 in Bettendorf, IA. Star Wars guests include Michael Golden, and Adam McArthur.
  • Supanova Comic Con & Gaming is June 21 to 23 in Sydney, Australia. Star Wars guests include Elijah Wood.

  • Ahmed Best’s “On Location” Star Wars videos are now on YouTube thanks to Matthew Turbo.
  • Skywalking Through Neverland has some nice coverage of Galaxy’s Edge.

  • For those worried about what you’re allowed to wear at Galaxy’s Edge, the Disney Parks Blog has a helpful post with pictures. The key takeaway is that robes are not allowed, but some of those other clothing items offered at Galaxy’s Edge can be worn.

Movie & Television News

  • They’re making another movie about Robert the Bruce, but this time they’re using the actor from Braveheart, so it’s sort of a sequel. Here’s the trailer. No US release date yet.

  • And here’s the trailer for Doctor Sleep. It’ll be out November 8th.
