  • StarWars.com has more on the upcoming books and comics tied in to Galaxy’s Edge including the young reader books A Crash of Fate by Zoraida Córdova (August 2019), and Star Wars: Myths & Fables by George Mann and Grant Griffin (August 2019).

Convention & Event News

Lots of Celebration updates this week. First off, there’s details on the cosplay competition, more guests have been announced, and they’ve finally released a list of all the podcasts for the Podcast Stage.

  • Star Wars Celebration 2019 is April 11 to 15 in Chicago, IL. Star Wars authors who will be in attendance include Jeffrey Brown, Katie Cook, Zoraida Cordova, Delilah S. Dawson, Alexander Freed, Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, E.K. Johnston, Cavan Scott and Timothy Zahn.
  • D23 is August 23 to 25 in Anaheim, CA.
  • Disney’s Star Wars Day at Sea will be returning in 2020.

Movie & Television News

  • Jon Favreau shared a photo of R5-D4.
  • So releasing Super Bowl commercials before the Super Bowl is apparently a thing now. Regardless, this one is pretty funny.

  • Here’s the latest “Bucket’s List” for Star Wars Resistance.

  • Beyond Star Wars, there’s some new trailers out including one for Donnybrook. Looks gritty and might be good. It’ll be out in select theaters on February 15 and will hit VOD on the 22nd.
