- ACME Archives has a preview of a new Yoda print which will be available for pre-order in February.
Book News
- A new blurb for Alphabet Squadron has been released to go along with the cover and the announcement that it’s now part of a trilogy. It will also get a comic crossover with Star Wars: TIE Fighter.
Comic News
- StarWars.com has revealed that we’ll be getting a five issue Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge comic written by Ethan Sacks and art by Will Sliney. It’ll be out in April. StarWars.com also has an interview with the writer.
- StarWars.com also revealed a tie-in comic series for Alphabet Squadron that will be called Star Wars: TIE Fighter. The series will be written by Jody Houser and will feature artwork by Rogê Antônio.
Convention & Event News
StarWars.com has revealed the poster for Star Wars Celebration, more guests, and a rundown of the artists who will be there. And while Dave Dorman was not in the artist list, Dave has revealed that he’ll have a booth at Celebration and he’ll be signing things for free. Dave is a great guy, a talented artist, and I’m glad he’ll be there for the event.
- Albuquerque Comic Con is January 18 to 20 in Albuquerque, NM. Star Wars guests include Michael Bell, Michael Carter, Howard Chaykin, Mark Dodson, Peter Mayhew, Femi Taylor, and Keone Young.
- STCE’s Comic Con is January 26 to 27 in Laredo, TX. Star Wars guests include Greg Baldwin, Grant Gould, and Ray Park.
- Pasadena Comic Convention & Toy Show is January 27 in Pasadena, CA. Star Wars guests include Julie Dolan, and Kevin Thompson.
- Star Wars Celebration 2019 is April 11 to 15 in Chicago, IL. Star Wars authors who will be in attendance include Jeffrey Brown, Katie Cook, Zoraida Cordova, Delilah S. Dawson, Alexander Freed, Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, E.K. Johnston, Cavan Scott and Timothy Zahn.
- D23 is August 23 to 25 in Anaheim, CA.
Movie & Television News
- Latest “Bucket’s List” for Star Wars Resistance.
- And latest “Star Wars Resistance Rewind.”
Beyond Star Wars, this one might be good – The Hummingbird Project. It’ll be out in March.
- O.G. is another that looks like it might be good. It will start streaming on HBO in February.
