Lords of the Sith Podcast: Episode 15 they compare and contrast the Reylo (Rey and Kylo) and Anidala (Anakin and Padme Amidala). They talk about how the two could be a reverse of each other, the maternal aspect of Anidala, the thought that Kylo killed Snoke only to save Rey, that he wasn’t planning that, Rey leaving Kylo breaking the Anidala cycle, the various parallels and differences, the Palpatine/Snoke Anakin/Kylo factor, and how both Rey and Padme reject their evil lovers. They do heavily defend the Reylo relationship with more focus on the differences, even in the parallels. They speculate whether Reylo will end in doom, and they bring up a good point that Kylo never mentions the First Order when he talks about letting the past die. However, they have an odd observation that Rey is looking for perfection. They also bring up an interesting aspect that Anakin is looking for a mom, an older woman, and he finds that in Padme. Good discussion.
