  • Cover artist John Tyler Christopher is doing a Leia Organa Yavin Gown action figure cover which will be available for order on November 15th.

Convention & Event News

Executive Creative Director and Head of Industrial Light & Magic Rob Bredow will be heading to Star Wars Celebration 2019. Media registration is also now open.

  • Supanova Adelaide is November 2 to 4th in Adelaide, Australia and Timothy Zahn will be there.
  • Supanova Brisbane is November 9 to 11th in Brisbane, Australia and Timothy Zahn will be there.
  • Timothy Zahn will be in Bandon, OR for a book signing at WinterRiver Books & Gallery on November 24 at 1:00 PM.
  • Star Wars Celebration 2019 is April 11 to 15 in Chicago, IL.
  • D23 is August 23 to 25 in Anaheim, CA.

Fandom News

  • Voting is now open for the Star Wars Fan Awards.
  • Sideshow Live spoke with voice actor Steve Blum.

Movie & Television News

  • During yesterday’s earnings call, Bob Iger revealed Disney’s new streaming service will be called Disney+ (“Disney plus”) and there will be a brand new live action Star Wars series focusing on Cassian Andor, taking place before the events of Rogue One. Diego Luna will be reprising the role. “The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire. A release date for the series has not yet been announced.”
  • Beyond Star Wars, there’s a trailer for Asher starring Ron Perlman. It’ll be out in December, but this one looks like you’d be better off waiting for it to hit Netflix.
