Very positive discussion. Plus listener questions. Great episode.

Audio gets a little less noisy as the interviews progress. Interviews are worth a listen, though.

Grand Moff Talkin’: Episode 69 they do a commentary for most of Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie. They talk about the characters, the elements of the movie, issues with the animation, the nick names, and they make it to about the last half hour of the movie, then fast forward through the rest of it as they hit their limit. So best just listening to this one and not trying to watch the movie. Despite cheating the commentary, still a good episode to listen to.

Fun little episode.

Making Tracks: Stories From a Galaxy Far, Far Away Panel is the audio from the New York Comic Con panel that featured authors and comic writers Christian Blauvelt, Jody Houser, Justina Ireland, Mur Lafferty, Amy Ratcliffe, Charles Soule, Michael Moreci, Greg Pak, Robbie Thompson, and Chuck Wendig as they talk about Star Wars, what it is to them, writing Star Wars, their recent projects and their upcoming projects. Unfortunately there is a lot of room noise and the audio of the guests is from a ways away. It is listenable, however you might want to check out Penguin Random House’s YouTube video instead as it is a lot better audio.

They talk about the Star Wars Resistance toys, go over an interview Clint Howard did on the Dennis Miller show, which had some interesting content, and they talk with guests Kevin Liell (Star Wars artist) and Rusty Goffe (who played Kabe, Power Droid and a Jawa in A New Hope). Rusty has some great stories.

Star Wars Core World News: Episode 32 they go over The Mandalorian news, they talk about Jon Favreau’s Instagram post, thoughts on who the Mandalorian might be, and the time period. Then they talk about the Russian bots and The Last Jedi, they touch on comics, get into some video game news, and wrap up with Kathleen Kennedy’s contract extension. Nice discussion of the news. Note this used to be Star Wars Weekly, but they’ve re-branded and they’re going for shorter episodes. The one hour format is a lot more enjoyable in my opinion, so I’m liking the change.

Star Wars Resistance Flyby: The Recruit Sarah and Rich from Skywalking Through Neverland talk about Star Wars Resistance in their new podcast. They start with audio from the Star Wars Resistance press screening (which is the same audio from the Full of Sith episode, but tighter editing). They do a synopsis for the first episode, go over the look of the animation, the music, the characters and the story as they breakdown the episode. Really great breakdown, probably the best I’ve listened to so far.

And they go over other stuff. Good episode. The discussion about Gary Kurtz was interesting as its neat to hear how his recollection of how things went down differs from what George says.

Alexandra shares her thoughts on the movie, which is mostly positive. With Ben also liking the movie, that made Ash the only dissenter, and at one point it got pretty focused on a negative point which really killed my mood, but thankfully they ended on a positive note. Overall, good episode.
