They talk about Jon Kasdan’s comments on Solo sequel, Blu-ray sales, and toy news. Good episode, even with the Batman wiener discussion.

They go over the leadership of the First Order, and how things will look following the battle of Crait. Good discussion.

Grand Moff Talkin’: Episode 68 is part two of their Solo commentary. It starts at the part where Beckett talks about pushing Aurra Sing off to her death and goes all the way to the end credits. Perhaps not the best Solo commentary you’ll listen to, but not bad. It’ll be a bit tricky if you try to listen to it while watching the movie since you’ll have to pause to load up part two, but it works well enough just listening to it as a regular podcast without watching the movie.

Nice observation on how the first and last planet Han and Chewie travel to together is a snow planet and both end badly on bridges. Their main discussion focuses on the female characters in Solo as they talk about each one, their roles, and they share their thoughts. Great discussion.

Rebel Force Radio: Episode 9.14.2018 goes over Solo‘s home release and the special features, and includes a nice interview with Star Wars sculptor Lawrence Noble who talks about sculpting the famous Yoda statue, his interactions with George Lucas, a fun story about meeting Burt Reynolds, and much more. He’s a good storyteller and he’s got some fun stories to share.

Rebel Force Radio: Solo Film Commentary Track features Jimmy, Jason and Billy as they share their thoughts and observations as they watch the movie, and Billy provides some fun puppet Lando impersonations along the way. So far, this is my favorite Solo commentary I’ve listened to. They keep it fun and entertaining.

Afterwards they have on guest Lisa Dullard as they go through all of the bonus features on Solo. Very comprehensive coverage. They also have on Eric, and they wrap up with the usual bloopers and outtakes. Great episode.

Dr. Earl is also on this one. They talk a little Infinity War, Steve goes over his top five heist films, and they spend a lot of time on The Last Jedi and their thoughts on the new Star Wars movies. There’s some healthy criticism, and some serious discussion, and yet it’s still a fun episode overall.

Great episode.
