From sequel trilogy characters to prequel trilogy characters, they cover the gambit and explore some interesting characters and choices. Great topic and good discussion though it can be hard to tell when Phil is being serious or when he’s trolling.

Afterwards they talk Episode IX rumors, leaked photos, go over some listener feedback, and they have a (fake) interview with J.J. Abrams. The Ewok/Gungan joke had me busting up laughing. Guests include IG-69 and Teeb. Fun episode if you’re looking for some Star Wars parody podcasting.

Good Ahsoka discussion.

Star Wars 7×7: Episode 1529 Allen talks with Bethany Lacina about analyzing Star Wars Twitter behavior. This episode runs longer than usual. It’s an interesting subject, however, there’s a lot of pauses which kind detracts from the conversation. There’s also some audio echos. Not sure if there was some lag in the audio or if Bethany just paused to collect her thoughts a lot. Either way, the episode could have used some editing to clean that up. Kind of hard to listen to otherwise.

Afterwards they have a soccer bit on Tuskens vs Wookiees, and they wrap up with their “Silence Fools” segment. Fun episode.

They share their thoughts on a Kenobi movie, talk about Vader’s rebel tendencies (nice observation about Vader being curious about Kenobi’s death), whether there will be overlap between Star Wars Resistance and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and they talk about Rey’s hero’s journey. Good episode.

He talks about being approached for The Phantom Menace, them improvising Bode and Feed lines, he shares some Harrison Ford weed stories, talks about doing the lines for TPM and working with George Lucas, the motion capture, the swag, who he based the voice on, initial thoughts on seeing TPM, doing redo work for the DVD, other Star Wars work he did, The Clone Wars, a project he can’t talk about, and collectibles. Note there’s a lot of F-bombs, but it’s a fun conversation.
