Fandom News

  • In case you missed it, you can check out the pictures of Thandie Newton’s Star Wars action figure dress here.
  • There’s some new Solo sabacc posters out that you can see over on Jedi News.
  • Cinemablend has an interview with Chewbacca actor Joonas Suotamo on Solo.
  • Entertainment Weekly also has an interview with Joonas.
  • Comicbook.com has an interview with Ron Howard and while it does center on Solo, he also mentions the potential for Willow 2.
  • Solo composer John Powell shared some info on the themes he created for the film.

  • Donald Glover was on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

  • All Access has a video with Solo composer John Powell.
  • Here is the latest episode of The Star Wars Show.

Movie & Television News

  • New behind the scenes video for Solo called “Making Solo”.

  • ET interview with Alden Ehrenreich where Harrison Ford shows up.

  • Here’s the Facebook Solo Q&A.
  • And if you missed the Solo red carpet live stream, you can check it out here.

  • Beyond Star Wars, the trailer for Destination Wedding is out. This movie will hit theaters in August. Now I don’t normally go for this sort of movie, but the writing seems pretty good and I like the chemistry between Keanu and Winona.

  • I liked the first Escape Plan and while Escape Plan 2 doesn’t look as good, it does look like some dumb fun, so I’m might check it out. It’ll be out in June.

  • And they’re making a movie about Queen and Freddie Mercury called Bohemia Rhapsody. It’ll be out in November. This looks promising.

  • Then there’s BlackkKlansman which looks like it could also be really good. It will be out in August.

  • Now for something completely different. Matt Dillon is playing a serial killer in a very dark film called The House That Jack Built. No release date yet. Fair warning, it’s a violent trailer.

  • If you remade Red Dawn with aliens and set it in New Zealand with Jango Fett as one of the heroes, you mind wind up with Occupation. Certainly not a great looking movie, but if you eventually see this on Netflix, it could be fun to watch.
