  • Mondo is offering two Mike Mitchell Star Wars portraits in honor of May the 4th. One features a sandtrooper and the other Nien Nunb. Both are going for $60 each.

Book News

  • Author Beth Revis revealed the new paperback cover for Rebel Rising.

Comic News

  • I hadn’t noticed this before, but IDW is doing a graphic novel adaptation for Solo. It’s being written by Alessandro Ferrari and will be out on November 20, 2018 (80 pages, $9.99, TPB).
  • Jedi-Bibliothek has a first look at the cover for The Last Jedi #2.

Contest News

  • Nissan is holding a “Best in the Galaxy” Sweepstakes where you can enter to win a Range Trooper helmet by Gentle Giant. The catch is you have to customize your Nissan to look like Star Wars.

  • Origins is June 13 to 17 in Columbus, OH. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.
  • All*Star Comic Con is June 15 to 17 in Tysons Corner, VA. Star Wars guests include Jason Aaron, John Jackson Miller, and Brian Muir.
  • Westercon is July 4 in Denver, CO. Star Wars guests include Kevin J. Anderson.
  • Bell County Comic Con is August 3 to 5 in Belton, TX. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.

Movie & Television News

  • Ron Howard will be talking Solo on Good Morning America today.

  • Solo TV spot “Team”.

  • Solo featurette of Donald Glover giving a tour of the Millennium Falcon.

  • Solo featurette “Becoming Solo”.

  • There’s the #RoarForChange video focuses on Chewbacca.

  • Nissan has a Solo commercial.

  • Beyond Star Wars, but not too far, is The Yellow Birds. This one stars Alden Ehrenreich, Tye Sheridan, Toni Collette and Jennifer Aniston. The trailer looks pretty good. It’ll be out June 15th, so Solo fans can get another taste of Alden if they like what they see.

  • Also out next month is Gotti starring John Travolta.

  • They’re making another Robin Hood movie, though some of the visuals look off in this one as some of the scenes show people wearing very modern looking blazers. It’ll be out in November.

  • Paul Rudd will be doing something other than Marvel this year with The Catcher Was a Spy, which looks pretty good. It’ll be out next month.

  • New Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer. This one will be out in July.

  • And then there’s Kin which actually looks like it might be good. It’ll be out in August.

Toy & Collectible News

  • Hallmark is offering new Star Wars items today.
  • Gentle Giant has revealed the last of their Premier Guild Membership gifts. To check all of them out, and to see the details on cost for the various levels, click here.
  • For those with really really really deep pockets, Han Solo’s hero blaster from Return of the Jedi will be up for auction next month via juliensauctions.com. You can check out the details via Reuters.
  • The countdown to Solo continues with more Topps cards and movie image reveals.
  • StarWars.com has a rundown on May 4th deals.
  • The Rogue One 3-3/4″ Imperial Combat Assault Hovertank is up for pre-order at Dork Side Toys.

Video Game News

  • To celebration May 4th, StarWars.com has a rundown on video game deals ranging from discounts to freebies. If you haven’t got Star Wars Battlefront II yet, Target and Walmart are offering 50% off.
