Disneyland has announced an After Dark event for May 9 for Star Wars fans. Tickets will go on-sale May 1st so if you’re interested, get ready, as the first event already sold out.

  • East Coast Comicon is April 27 to 29 in Meadowlands, NJ. Star Wars guests include Howard Chaykin, Jan Duursema, and Timothy Zahn.
  • Comic Con Revolution is May 19 to 20 in Ontario, CA. Star Wars guests include Jason Aaron, Howard Chaykin, Tom Hodges, Mike Mayhew, Cat Staggs, Greg Weisman, and Timothy Zahn.
  • Phoenix Comicon is May 24 to 27 in Phoenix, AZ. Star Wars guests include Steve Blum, Katie Cook, Joe Corroney, Tim Curry, Delilah S. Dawson, Jason Fry, Adi Granov, Tom Hodges, R. A. Salvatore, Charles Soule, Chuck Wendig, and Wil Wheaton.

  • Origins is June 13 to 17 in Columbus, OH. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.
  • All*Star Comic Con is June 15 to 17 in Tysons Corner, VA. Star Wars guests include Jason Aaron, John Jackson Miller, and Brian Muir.
  • Westercon is July 4 in Denver, CO. Star Wars guests include Kevin J. Anderson.
  • Bell County Comic Con is August 3 to 5 in Belton, TX. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.

  • Fantha Tracks has released a new feature on their site, an A-Z of Podcasts. If you’re looking for some new podcasts to check out, head over and take a look.
  • A life-size Millennium Falcon cockpit will making a tour to a couple cities in the US this year. StarWars.com has the details on where and when.
  • Here’s the latest episode of The Star Wars Show.

  • For those about to see Infinity War, enjoy a little humor from HISHE.

  • Star Wars author Jason Fry got a cameo on the show Madam Secretary. Jason is the guy in the baseball cap seen throughout this video clip.

Movie & Television News

  • There’s the German version of the Solo trailer which has some new footage.

  • There’s Solo TV spot #8.

  • The Solo “Criminal Life” TV spot.

  • There’s the international trailer for Solo.

  • Los Angeles Times has an interview with Phoebe Waller-Bridge on her Solo character L3.
  • Beyond Solo, if you’re into touching dramas, there is Leave No Trace which will be out in June.

  • Also in the drama category, but a little edgier, is Hunting Lands. No release date yet.

  • Continuing the theme of dramas, there’s a western drama called Woman Walks Ahead. It will also be out in June.

  • Then there’s the official trailer for Venom which will be out in October.

Toy & Collectible News

  • ANOVOS pre-orders are up for their Han Solo signature line items.
  • Sideshow life-size Scout Trooper Helmets are now up for purchase.
  • Her Universe now has Our Universe items available at Hot Topic. I have to admit, the Lando cape is tempting.
  • Topps is counting down to the release of Solo with some new trading cards which features some interesting pictures from the upcoming movie. Click here to check them out. However, if you’re trying to go in completely spoiler free for Solo, you may want to avoid them if you can.
