Blast Points: Episode 92 returns to Droids as they do commentary for The Pirates and the Prince which includes IG-88 and a character with a name similar to Kylo Ren. You can listen along to the Droids cartoon while hearing Jason and Gabe share their their thoughts and observations.

Coffee With Kenobi: Episode 87 features guests Melinda Wolf and Amy Nalan as they talk about Leia an her growth in the canon Star Wars stories, they also cover BB-8 On the Run, storytelling, the IDW Star Wars Adventures, the Star Wars Destiny card game, Star Wars Rebels episode titles for season four, the new airing schedule, the nature of spoilers and their thoughts on them, the new Star Wars science show, Toys R Us bankruptcy and the Star Wars Battlefront II beta.

Fantastic Justice Squad Super Wonder Brother Friends: Episode 20 features Garrick as a guest as they discuss Rogue One. They start out with their non-spoiler discussion, however it does include a spoiler discussion of the book Catalyst. Afterwards they get into their spoiler discussion of the movie. They cover strengths and weaknesses, the CGI, and even what everyone is up to next (as far as the actors go). There’s also a fun name the character game where all of the clues are Star Wars themed. Great stuff. Worth a listen.

Fantastic Justice Squad Super Wonder Brother Friends: Episode 25 starts with TV shows they’re not watching, Make-A-Wish, the loss of Chris Cornell, Joss Whedon taking over Justice League and early reviews of Wonder Woman. They have a contest, then they dive into the non-spoiler discussion of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. They cover the strengths and weaknesses, how they would describe the movie, problem with the villains and age appropriateness of the film. Afterwards they get into their spoiler discussion as they go over the flaws with Ego and the Sovereign, the awesomeness of Rocket Raccoon, funniest moment, and Yondu being the standout character of the movie. Afterwards they play a better or worse funeral game, then cover the future projects of everyone in the movie.

Fantastic Justice Squad Super Wonder Brother Friends: Episode 26 is just Sancho Panda and Secret Alias Man as they talk about the passing of Adam West, meeting him, and his charity work. Then they switch gears to discuss Wonder Woman. They start as usual with a spoiler-free discussion covering strengths and weaknesses, some nit picks, and they step into the kid’s chair to cover things parents need to know before letting their kids see it. They talk about why the movie is not a game changer like Logan, or an ensemble like Guardians of the Galaxy, which I think are some pretty fair statements regarding the movie. Afterwards they get into spoilers, why the twist didn’t work for them and more. Plus there’s an “Ask your brother stuff he doesn’t know” game.

Fly Casual: Episode 154 is minus Corey but they bring on Toby to fill in which leads to a few F-bombs. There’s a great little director skit at the beginning pre-recorded by Corey that’s definitely worth a laugh and a listen. Afterwards they talk Abrams and Chris Terrio, the new air times for Star Wars Rebels, Carrie Fisher’s ESB script going up for auction, the Star Wars Rise to Power mobile game, Toys R Us bankruptcy, the new Sideshow Obi-Wan, Walgreens exclusive Pops, and there’s some porg fun. Sometimes raunchy, sometimes offensive, and pretty hilarious, this one may not be for everyone but it could be just the thing you’re looking for.

ForceCenter: Episode 81 the show topic is Star Wars and mythology. They talk about things such as black and white versus diving into the gray, the history of the books enriching the myth of the movies, the hero of fate vs the hero of choice and more.

ForceCenter Reacts: JJ Abrams Returns Ken and Joseph address fan reactions to J.J. directing Episode IX, fears of a rehash, they talk about Abrams work as a show runner, his strength with characters, and why he’s the right choice, or a good choice, for the movie.

Full of Sith: Episode CCXXXV is the audio from their live Full of Sith panel at Salt Lake Comic Con which features Bryan, Holly, Brian Herring (BB-8 puppeteer) and Matt Martin (Lucasfilm Story Group). They field audience questions from all over the board covering things like the chosen one policy, their work on the films, a Jaxxon comic pitch, killing everyone in Rogue One and criticisms of The Force Awakens. Good audio and fun discussions.

Geek Out Loud: Episode 218 is the Pass the Corn episode for September. Steve and Erich tackle listener emails, then they go through the movies coming out this month including American Assassin, mother!, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Ninjago, Brad’s Status, Battle of the Sexes, American Made, and Flatliners. They also talk movie anniversaries, and Ethan joins them to talk about It (some mild spoilers).

Hyperspace PodBlast: Episode #1 Brian and Shelby introduce themselves, their Star Wars fandoms, the objective of their show (a shorter format Star Wars show) and they share some of their thoughts on Star Wars and the films. With this being episode #1, the audio is a little rougher than where they are now (which is currently episode #31). If you’re wondering why I’d go so far back to start listening to a podcast, it’s because I really like the show, and most of their episodes are timeless as they’re discussion focused rather than news focused. Worth checking out.

Plus there’s some listener questions.

The discuss whether Mark Hamill will use a lightsaber, the march release for the novelization, promotional partners for The Last Jedi, and a recent article on Disney and Star Wars focusing on the business aspect of things. They take a break to cover a Chewbacca snowboarder story, then wrap up with whether we could see a return to Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

There’s some Leia speculation, and then they start going over stories in From A Certain Point of View. I dropped off at that point since I haven’t read the book yet and would rather not have anything spoiled yet.

The game show format for the show doesn’t get in the way of discussions, but instead adds a fun element to the whole thing. In this episode they talk about what they’ve been up to, they talk about the True Lies TV show, J.J. Abrams directing Star Wars Episode IX, who they would like to see direct a Star Wars movie, the correlation with Rotten Tomatoes scores, guilty movie pleasures, some spoiler free discussion of It, Star Wars trivia, and the new Hellboy. Same great audio and editing as The Geek Directive, but the new format does make it more fun.
