- Stepping away from Star Wars, how about some trailers? You Were Never Really Here looks brutally violent, but also interesting. No release date yet.
- For Blade Runner fans, there’s a short film out that ties into the upcoming Blade Runner 2049. It’s called Nexus: 2036. It’s a bit odd, but interesting.
- Liam Neeson is in a movie about the Watergate scandal called Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House. It’ll be out on September 29th.
- Killing Gunther could be funny. It’ll be out in October.
- Super Troopers is getting a sequel but it won’t be out until April next year.
Toy & Collectible News
- It’s Force Friday and The Last Jedi merchandise is out there. If you want to get an idea of what’s out there, StarWars.com and i09 have some highlights. The Hollywood Reporter has images of the 6-inch Black Series figures, and Funko has a rundown of all their The Last Jedi stuff. - Pre-orders are up for Hot Toys sixth scale Anakin Skywalker.
- Pre-orders are also up for the Sideshow Premium Format Captain Phasma.
- Details are now up at LEGO Shop for the new massive Star Wars set. It’s a 7,500 piece Millennium Falcon. And hopefully your pockets are deep because the price tag is $799.99.
