501stLogoLatest Databurst From the 501st covering 501st Legion event news from March 30 to  April 5th. As always, be sure to mark your calendars and support your local garrisons.

March 30

  • 70th Explorers Garrison will be in Leawood, KS for the Children’s Mercy South Star Wars visit, and in St. Louis, MO for Creative Music Making! at Maryville University Auditorium.
  • Southern California Garrison will be in Riverside, CA for Read Across America at Riverside Public Library Main Branch from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

April 1

  • 70th Explorers Garrison will be in St. Louis, MO for an Act Now Rescue Star Wars Fox 2 segment from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, and in St. Louis, MO for the Wohlwend Elementary Lip Sync Show at Oakville High School from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
  • Carolina Garrison will be in Charleston, SC for WonderFest Bridge Fest/Kids Run at Hampton Park from noon to 6:00 PM.
  • Central Garrison will be in Omaha, NE for the Manchester Elementary NeSA Pep Rally from 1:15 to 3:00 PM.
  • Midwest Garrison will be in Normal, IL for Star Wars Family Fun Night.

April 2

  • 70th Explorers Garrison will be in Kansas City, MO for the 5th Annual Ability 5K Run Walk and Roll at Longview Lake from 7:30 AM to noon, and in St. Louis, MO for Act Now Rescue Star Wars Pet Photo Day at Petco on Telegraph Rd from noon to 4:00 PM.
  • Badlands Garrison will be in Calgary, AB for Girl Guides & Star Wars Selling Cookies, and in Edmonton, AB for the IMAX PJ Party for The Force Awakens from April 2 to 3rd.
  • Carolina Garrison will be in Raleigh, NC for LEGO BrickUniverse from April 2 to April 4th, and in Cary, NC for SPCA of Wake County’s K9-3K Dog Walk & Woofstock from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Koka Booth Amphitheatre.
  • Central California Garrison will be in Dinuba, CA for the Dinuba Spring Community Health Fair from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • Central Garrison will be in Saint Paul, IA for HungerCon from 12:30 to 4:30 PM at Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, and in Bismarck, ND for Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness at Liberty Elementary School.
  • Connecticut Garrison will be in Hartford, CT for NASA Space Day at the Connecticut Science Center.
  • Dutch Garrison will be in Gent for FACTS Spring Edition from April 2 to 3rd.
  • Garrison Carida will be in Warminster, PA for Officer Bradley M Fox 5K Run/1K Walk from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at Archbishop Wood High School, and in Wilkes-Barre, PA for Star Wars Night with the Scranton Penguins from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Mohegan Sun Arena.

  • Garrison Tyranus will be at Hayfield Comic Con.
  • Great Lakes Garrison will be in Detroit, MI for the MDA Walk at Ford Field.
  • Japanese Garrison will be in Hokkaido for the Greenbird Volunteer Cleanup near Odori Sapporo.
  • Midwest Garrison will be in Winfield, IL for the Central Dupage Hospital Pediatric visit, in Tinley Park, IL for the Discover Tinley Expo, and in Pekin, IL for the Cancer Benefit.
  • Mountain Garrison will be in Colorado Springs, CO for the Colorado Springs Comic and Toy Con from April 2 to 3rd.
  • Nordic Garrison will be in Göteborg, Sweden for The Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Game & Film Convention from April 2 to 3rd.
  • Old Line Garrison will be in Eldersburg, MD for the South Carroll Small Business Association Community Expo at Oklahoma Road Middle School from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and in Alexandria, VA for Hayfield Comic Con at Hayfield Secondary School from noon to 2:00 PM.
  • Polish Garrison will be in Gdańsk for the Bike Festival from April 2 to 3rd.
  • Redback Garrison will be at Buzzcon IV: Beyond Awakens.
  • Southern California Garrison will be in Pasadena, CA for the Autism Speaks Walk LA 2016 from April 2 to 3rd, in Fontana, CA for the New Book Festival at Fontana Branch Library from 3:30 to 6:30 PM, in Bakersfield, CA for the 4th Get Messy Expo at Kern County Museum from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and in Redlands, CA for the Go Blue for World Autism Day at Downtown Redlands District from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • Star Garrison will be at Gamernation Con, the DFW Family Expo, Walk With Me, and Weatherford Comic Con.
  • UK Garrison will be in Bideford at Milky Way Adventure Park from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and in Chorley for Star and Cars 2016 at Parklands High School from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

April 3

  • Central California Garrison will be in Chico, CA for the Chico Walks for Autism at Bidwell Park from 8:30 AM to noon.
  • Central Garrison will be in Fargo, ND for Beth’s Brain Benefit at El Zagal Shrine.
  • German Garrison will be in Esslingen for Star Wars Invasion in Neckar Center.
  • Japanese Garrison will be in Fukuchiyama for the Castle Festival, and in Tokyo for the Fujitsu Kawasaki Factory Spring Festival.
  • Star Garrison will be at the We Can Be Heroes event.

April 4

  • Central Garrison will be in Detroit Lakes, MN for The Force Awakens Movie Midnight Release at Walmart starting at 11:00 PM.

April 5

  • Central Garrison will be in Park Rapids, MN for the midnight release of The Force Awakens at Walmart.
