  • Barnes & Noble is offering pre-orders for signed copies of Chuck Wendig’s upcoming Star Wars novel Aftermath.
  • And according to XPOSE, Carrie Fisher will be writing a new book recanting behind the scenes stories from her work on Star Wars.

  • While at San Diego Comic Con, Star Wars artist Randy Marinez did some painting, including a great looking Kylo Ren. While there, two celebrities stopped by to admire the painting. Ant-Man is J.J. Abrams. Be sure to listen to Skywalking Through Neverland to hear the whole story.

Movie & Television News

  • Jurassic World is getting a sequel and it will be out Friday June 22, 2018. This is following its status now as the third highest grossing domestic release ever. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return as well as writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
  • Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy will be starring in a frontier film called The Revenant and it looks really good. It’s also going to have fierce competition since it comes out this December. So hey, after seeing Star Wars twenty times, you might want to check this one out.
  • The official full length trailer for Mockingjay Part 2 is out.
  • And the trailer for the new James Bond movie Spectre is out.

Toy & Collectible News

  • Hot Toys has posted photos of their Princess Leia 1/12 scale figure.
  • Hot Toys will also showcasing an 18 foot Millennium Falcon. Yes, 18 feet of Falcon. No word on whether this will remain a one off showpiece or if it’ll hit production.
  • The Disney Store will be launching some new items at D23. You can check them out here.

Video Game News

  • HammerheadVR Studios revealed a concept trailer for a proposed Star Wars VR game utilizing the Oculus Rift.
