Book News

  • You can now read the first 50 pages of Lords of the Sith by Paul S. Kemp on RandomHouse.com.
  • Humble Bundle has an interesting sci-fi bundle going on right now that includes The Golden Queen by David Farland (aka Dave Wolverton), Veiled Alliances by Kevin J. Anderson, Assemblers of Infinity by Doug Beason and Kevin J. Anderson, Working Stiff by Kevin J. Anderson and Five By Five 3: Target Zone which also features Kevin J. Anderson and Michael A. Stackpole.
  • Greg Weisman, producer for Star Wars Rebels season one and writer for Kanan: The Last Padawan #1, has a kickstarter out for an audioplay based on his Rain of the Ghosts novel which will feature voice talents like Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Jim Cummings and many others.
  • Pre-orders for A New Proof will go up on April 7th. This book covers the Star Wars Kenner packaging design of 1977 to 1979.
  • StarWars.com has a first look at Jeffrey Brown’s Darth Vader and Friends.
  • Jedi Bibliothek reported some leaked artwork for an upcoming Star Wars Old Republic book. Artists T.J. Wright posted it on his blog.
  • John Jackson Miller has posted his production notes for A New Dawn which came out in paperback this week.
  • You can also pick up John Jackson Miller‘s novel Overdraft: The Orion Offensive this month for just $2 on Amazon.

Comic News

  • Star Wars #1 is going to a 5th printing (with yellow cover), Darth Vader #1 and #2 are going to a 3rd printings, Princess Leia #2 is going to a 2nd printing and Star Wars #3 is getting a 2nd printing according to Jedi News.
  • StarWars.com has a preview of Darth Vader #4.

  • Reel Art Artist Day is April 4 in Berwyn, IL from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Star Wars artist Dave Dorman will be there.
  • John Jackson Miller will be at Book World in Stevens Point, WI from from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for a book signing.
