  • Apollo’s Daughters update – for those who backed the anthology, they’ve found a near complete draft of Aaron Allston’s story, and if all goes well, a finished version will wind up in the final version of the anthology.

  • Dark Times: The Gallery Edition came out this week (though if you bought it off Amazon, it looks like we won’t get it until the 18th).

  • Yes, we have a name for Star Wars Episode VII…The Force Awakens…get used to saying that or using TFA. And according to RebelForce Radio, Episode VII won’t even be part of the proper title.
  • Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight cast has been revealed: Samuel L. Jackson (Major Marquis Warren), Kurt Russell (John “The Hangman” Ruth), Walton Goggins (Chris Mannix), Tim Roth (Oswaldo Mobray), Michael Madsen (Joe Gage), Bruce Dern (General Sanford Smithers), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Daisy Domergue), and Demian Bichir (Bob). FirstShowing.Net also has a synopsis.
  • I’m not sure about this one yet, but Sony has released the Trailer for Chappie, a sci-fi robot movie directed by Neil Blomkamp and featuring Hugh Jackman and music group Die Antwoord. It’ll be out March next year.

Toy & Collectible News

  • Depending on what kind of collector you are, ThreeA founder Ashley Wood shared a picture on Instagram teasing an upcoming Pascha figure that will be dressed like Darth Vader.
  • Spiderwebart is offering some Millennium Falcon lithographs by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt featuring a piece of art they did for the Shadows of the Empire trading card set. What makes these special is they come with a Chewbacca remarque by Greg and Tim before Tim’s passing.
