Cibola Burn is the fourth book in James S.A. Corey’s The Expanse series, and like the others, it’s a great character adventure in tome sized format (a respectable 581 pages). With a new planet beyond the ring being colonized, humanity finds itself in conflict over who has the right to this strange alien world. But what no one bothers to ask is whether the aliens ever truly left. It’s up to Holden and his crew to sort things out and, ultimately, try to save as many lives as possible as everything goes to hell. Click here to read our full review.

Yet the shadow of Ustalavic politics is long, and even in a remote and lawless territory, there may be those determined to see the Vishov family fail…
