  1. Great post, love it!

  2. Once i got to know that this would be a sequel to “The Shining”, how can I not buy this book.

The story starts with the continuation of the life of Dan Torrance (the child with the shining capability) and his pitiful state afterwards. There are a lot of new characters with varying paranormal capabilities are introduced in this book. I have only been through 25% of the book but I’m already intrigued.

There are apparitions, psychic vampires, secret cults and lots more in this book.

Dan finds that he is not alone with his capabilities and finds others with similar problems/talents like him.

Being an American horror story fan – I believe this book is reminiscent of the modern day horror where the scary characters are displaying more human emotions.

It looks like Stephen king conducted a poll to decide on writing this book and boy was it a good decision.
