  • Star Wars fans looking to branch out might want to try Deep Gravity which will be written by Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman (Star Wars: Legacy). CBR has an interview with creators plus a look at the interior art.

  • Odyssey Con is this weekend in Madison, WI. Star Wars author Troy Denning will be there. You can check out Troy’s schedule below.

  • Gem City Comic Con is in Dayton, OH this weekend. Star Wars artist Joe Corroney will be there.
  • WonderCon Anaheim runs April 18-20, and of great importance to Star Wars fans, there will be a Star Wars Rebels panel. Star Wars guests in attendance at the con include Katie Cook, Tommy Lee Edwards, Paul Gulacy, Mike Mayhew and Gabriel Hardman (Saturday only).

Behind the Scenes of Star Wars Rebels

Members of the cast and crew of Star Wars Rebels present an exclusive look at the highly anticipated television series. Star Wars Rebels is set between Episodes III and IV, and it is a dark time in the galaxy. In the spirit of the original trilogy, the Empire is once again the preeminent villain of the saga, and Star Wars Rebels puts the might of Imperial forces in the spotlight. Produced by Lucasfilm Animation and featuring many of the key talents from the Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels is scheduled to premiere this fall as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel; it will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.

  • Boring Conversation Anyway has a really cool video panel with feedback on Hasbro’s Star Wars lineup from Toy Fair. It’s long, but it’s interesting to hear the communities feelings on the toys that were revealed.
  • Author Jason Fry was on Fictional Frontiers to talk Jupiter Pirates.
  • Samuel L. Jackson appeared on The Daily Show and talked a little Star Wars. You can watch the full episode here.
  • Star Wars artist Chris Trevas also shared a sneak peak of his upcoming artwork in Star Wars Insider.

Movie & Television News

  • The Big Bang Theory will be doing a Star Wars episode which will air May 1st. The Hollywood Reporter has the details.
  • Following suit, The Goldbergs is also getting a Star Wars episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will air May 6th.
