For those heading to San Diego Comic Con 2013 who like Star Wars books, be sure to check out all the cool events Del Rey has lined up.

Friday

  • 10:00-11:00 AM: Drew Karpyshyn signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction and advanced reader copies of his new original fantasy novel Children of Fire while supplies last.
  • 12:00-1:00 PM: Writer’s Studio: Behind the Scenes with Star Wars Authors panel (Room 7AB) Panelists include authors Troy Denning, John Jackson Miller, J.W. Rinzler, and Jeffrey Brown hosted by Lucasfilm’s Leland Chee and also including Lucasfilm editor Jen Heddle and Del Rey editor Frank Parisi.
  • 2:00-3:00 PM: John Jackson Miller signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories while supplies last.
  • 4:00-5:00 PM: Troy Denning signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Fate of the Jedi: Apocalpyse while supplies last.

Saturday

  • 10:00-11:00 AM: J.W. Rinzler signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of The Making of Star Wars paperback edition while supplies last.
  • 11:30-12:30 PM: John Jackson Miller signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories while supplies last.
  • 2:00-3:00 PM: Troy Denning signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Fate of the Jedi: Apocalpyse while supplies last.
  • 4:00-5:00 PM: Drew Karpyshyn signing (Booth 2913D) free copies of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction and advanced reader copies of his new original fantasy novel Children of Fire while supplies last.

Del Rey will also be giving away free Del Rey Star Wars 2013 sampler books featuring 96 pages of novel excerpts and short stories as well as Star Wars posters featuring the cover art for Empire and Rebellion: Razor’s Edge, Maul: Lockdown, Crucible, and the promotional art for Kenobi, plus bookmarks and keychains.
