Use the Force for Good Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C)

In celebration of the release of the Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray today, Lucasfilm is teaming up with eBay, Major League Baseball, Hollywood, and Stand Up To Cancer to raise money for groundbreaking cancer research to help fight the disease. The following list of celebrities will be releasing a video today in support of program and will be followed by Star Wars eBay auctions for rare items with funds going toward SU2C. Aziz Ansari, Zach Galifianakis, Bill Hader, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Jaime King, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Emma Stone, and Samuel L. Jackson will all be recreating classic Star Wars scenes and the video can be seen on the official Star Wars Youtube channel.

The eBay auctions will includes items ranging from cars to dinner with the maker himself, George Lucas. The auctions will begin at 4:00 PM PDT and will end on September 23rd. You can check out the auctions here once they are started.

You can also help out by buying one of the Star Wars themed t-shirts which will be featured on Stand Up To Cancer’s website. The shirts and apparel will be available until the end of the year with proceeds going to SU2C.

And for the rest of September various Major League Baseball teams will be hosting SU2C Star Wars Nights at the ballpark. To see the list of games, click here.

Remember, all of this is for a good cause and helps raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research that will help create new therapies in the fight against cancer.
