At Star Wars Celebration VI, LEGO had their own dedicated space with a brick building area and giant pile of LEGOS, and full size LEGO displays of certain characters. There was also another LEGO section for large displays of Hoth, the Death Star trench, Tatooine, etc. Here’s a nice little photo gallery to give you an idea what they had on display at CVI.

Lego Star Wars Barrel Organ

Just when you think you’ve seen everything Star Wars that Lego can do, they top themselves (and just about everyone else).  I don’t know how they even got inspired to create a barrel organ that plays themes from Star Wars, but it’s pretty brilliant.  Check out the video below to see just how they manage to make it all work.

LEGO Star Wars: 10 more years

LEGO has renewed their deal with Lucas Licensing for 10 more years. This new deal will enable them to continue making Star Wars LEGO toys and video games. According to MCV, they are also working on Star Wars: The Old Republic products to coincide with the success of the MMO game.

I wonder if we might see a LEGO TOR game anytime in the future…

Now on the LucasArts game site for Lego Star Wars III, you can play as Boba Fett! Granted, there’s not much you can do yet, but it’s worth a few minutes of fun. Just head on over to the site here, and hit enter to unlock Boba Fett. The secret code word is: SARLACCFOOD. Enjoy!
