Paranoia Trailer

I have no idea if this Liam Hemsworth film is going to be a good movie, but I’d watch it just to see Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman chew the scenery. The plot revolves around corporate espionage, and it’s based on the book by Joseph Finder.

Producer Denies Harrison Ford Involvement in New ‘Blade Runner’

In light of the recent reports about Harrison Ford reprising his role of Rick Deckard in the new Blade Runner movie, Alcon Entertainment has issued a statement denying such rumors. Speaking exclusively with Deadline New York, Producer Andrew Kosove had this to say about it:
“It is absolutely patently false that there has been any discussion about Harrison Ford being in Blade Runner,” Kosove told me. “To be clear, what we are trying to do with Ridley now is go through the painstaking process of trying to break the back of the story, figure out the direction we’re going to take the movie and find a writer to work on it. The casting of the movie could not be further from our minds at this moment.”

Harrison Ford Possible for ‘Blade Runner’ Sequel
February 6, 2012 at 1:27 pm | Posted in News | Leave a commentTags: blade runner, harrison ford
Twitch is reporting that Harrison Ford is in early talks to join the new Blade Runner. If this is the real deal, I’m liking it. I wasn’t crazy about the idea of a remake to begin with, and sequel has a much nicer ring to it. Still, it’s a curious development in light of Producer Andrew Kosove’s previous statement to the contrary.
In no way do I speak for Ridley Scott but if you’re asking me will this movie have anything to do with Harrison Ford, the answer is no. This is a total reinvention and in my mind that means doing everything fresh, including casting.
Apparently Ridley Scott disagreed, and although it’s been rumored to be a remake, plenty of other sources refer to this movie as the next installment of Blade Runner.

So what happens when the director of Iron Man takes James Bond, Han Solo, and Quorra from Tron: Legacy, mixes them all into a western film, and then crashes the party with UFO’s? Obviously you get Cowboys & Aliens, a fun, entertaining film that got overhyped but still delivered an enjoyable mash-up of western meets sci-fi. Click here to read the full review.

Cowboys & Aliens: Interview with Ford and Craig

According to Harrison Ford, he was thirty pages into the Cowboys and Aliens script and told his agent, “I don’t get it. I don’t think there’s anything in this for me.”
Fortunately for fans, his agent did what a good agent does. He urged Ford to reconsider.
On the other hand Daniel Craig seemed to love the idea from the get go. The title immediately grabbed him and said the script took him somewhere else when he read it. He’s hoping that’s what they succeeded in doing for the fans as well.

Happy Birthday, Harrison Ford

Today Roqoo Depot wishes a very happy birthday to actor Harrison Ford. Star Wars fans will forever remember Ford’s portrayal of the immortal Han Solo in the Star Wars saga. Harrison Ford was born in Chicago, IL in 1942. Although he did some acting in college and a few movies and television roles in the 60′s, it wasn’t until he did American Graffiti in 1973 with director George Lucas that he hit it big. Doing Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977 sealed his stardom. Interestingly enough, things could have been very different for him had he accepted the role of Meathead in the television show All in the Family, which he was offered and turned down. He almost didn’t even get the role of Han Solo. According to IMDB: Continue Reading Happy Birthday, Harrison Ford…
