Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Coffee With Kenobi: Coffee Chat with James Arnold Taylor is a fun one as James talks about Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, The Comlink, Star Wars Weekends, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Cory and Dan present just the right atmosphere which results a in a very casual and entertaining conversation with James. A great episode for your Star Wars playlist.

Special Edition: Indiana Comic Con includes a lot of guests as they talked to multiple people at the convention including Princess Leia comic writer Mark Waid, blogger Amy Ratcliffe and more. They talk about their experiences at the con, and share their stories about meeting Carrie Fisher. And speaking of Carrie Fisher, afterwards they have the audio of her panel.

Dead Talks: The Walking Dead season finale has already aired, but I’m still catching up with the podcast. In Episode #36 they cover “Spend”, tackle how Rick’s group might be a bad influence for the people of Alexandria, Carol’s evolution as a character, Abraham finding his place in the community, and the horror Glen witnesses. Quite simply, I love this podcast. I can’t believe how much my Walking Dead fandom was missing out on. Continue Reading Podcasts in Review…

mark_hamill_harrison_ford_carrie_fisherCarrie Fisher confirmed the start of filming for the new Star Wars movie…sort of.  She stated that she, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford are expected to report for work in March or April.  Of course, being Carrie, she couldn’t resist joking in her own inimitable style.

“I’d like to wear my old [cinnamon buns] hairstyle again — but with white hair,” she says. “I think that would be funny.”

Fisher’s Star Wars statement was made while she was promoting her upcoming roles on The Big Bang Theory and Legit.

Today we wish a happy birthday to actress Carrie Fisher who turns 57 today. Be sure to stop by Facebook or Twitter and wish her a happy birthday. While there still is not official announcement yet on whether she’ll be in Star Wars Episode, let’s keep our fingers crossed that she doesn’t get her way and end up married to Chewbacca.

Posted By: Skuldren for Roqoo Depot because the working title for Episode VII is really The Revenge of Mallatobuck.

Carrie Fisher Talks Episode 7 Plot. Wink, Wink

han_solo_and_princess_leiaCarrie Fisher always gives good entertainment value, especially when it comes to Star Wars.  She’s at it again with her Episode 7 plot ideas, this time at Sydney Supernova.

“Han Solo and I have been unhappily married for many years, and so we speak through the wookies and use a translator.  I regularly say to R2 ‘Tell that son of a bitch to ***!’ And we have children, but one of them looks a lot like Chewbacca, and we use Yoda, who’s regenerated on a planet somewhere, for marital therapy. I urge Chewie to get waxed for sure!

“There’s also a lot of shopping because there’s cool things to buy and giant planets that are shopping malls. Alderaan means shopping mall by the way. And then I start sleeping with robots, how about that?”

Of course, it is Carrie, sooo…  But isn’t this a lot better than the usual no comments, or details will be released in 2014?

Thanks to Jedi News for spotting this one.
