From TOS comes the announcement that the last of the season 3 digital download trading cards have been made available. Given the long history of the Star Wars franchise and also it’s penchant for being on the cutting edge of technology, these cards are a wonderful blend of a retro 1980’s look while being delivered in a modern downloadable format.
The cards were inspired by the original Topps sets that were released for The Empire Strikes Back in 1981. Much of the original artwork from those cards was scanned and reproduced in exacting detail for this new digital set. Much like the original sets there are also graphics on the back of some of the cards that can be used as puzzle pieces to form a larger picture from the series.
The cards are free to download from StarWars.com and can be found by clicking here and scrolling about halfway down the page. You’ll find them under the heading “Clone Cards”.
